About us
The West Coast Circuit is a series of community-based badminton tournaments across the West of Scotland.
Run by a passionate team who have played badminton and been actively involved in the sport for many years, our aim is simple: to deliver a fantastic tournament experience, make competition more accessible and bring badminton communities together.
From those taking their first steps into competition to experienced players on the circuit, we create events that are competitive, welcoming and, most importantly, enjoyable.
We launched with events in Kilmarnock and Oban in 2019 and have since grown into the thriving community circuit we are today. With each member of our team bringing experience and expertise in different areas, we work together to make every West Coast event the best it can be.

Andrew Ironside
Co-Founder & Director of Brand & ExperienceAndrew is one of the original co-founders of the West Coast Circuit and owner of Ironside Racket Services. With years of experience across badminton and the wider racket sports industry, he brings his retail and creative expertise to the Circuit, with a particular focus on branding, graphics and the overall event experience. Through Ironside Racket Services, Andrew also provides on-site racket stringing and retail services at West Coast events, giving players access to specialist support throughout the tournament. Alongside this, he is always looking at new ideas and opportunities to enhance the player experience and help the Circuit continue to evolve while retaining the community feel it was built on. -
Kerry Anne Savage
Co-Founder & Director of Tournament OperationsKerry Anne is one of the original co-founders of the West Coast Circuit and leads the organisation and delivery of our Ayrshire events. From planning behind the scenes to keeping everything running on tournament day, she plays a key role in delivering the friendly, competitive and well-organised events West Coast has become known for. Kerry Anne also helps drive the continued development of the Circuit alongside the wider team. -
Ryan McCuaig
Co-Founder & Director of Events & Regional DevelopmentRyan is one of the original co-founders of the West Coast Circuit and plays a key role in the organisation and delivery of our tournaments. Taking the lead on our Oban events, Ryan helps keep everything running smoothly both in the build-up and throughout the weekend. He also provides an important link to the Western Isles, helping West Coast build connections and bring communities from across the west of Scotland together.
